Collection SummaryIn this interview Christine Shaw talks about her life, the migrant experience and her time working for ANSTO, including her reflections on nuclear reactor, protesters and changes at the organisation.BiographyChristine Shaw born in Hampstead, London 3 December, 1936. Christine migrated to NZ and trained as a nurse. while there she married Tony Sharpin. After travelling around New Zealand they moved to Alice Springs for 18 months before returning to England, where their son was born. Not long after they decided to emigrate permanently to Australia and purchased a house at 106 Prince Edward Park Road, Woronora. In 1984 she got a job at ANSTO.
