BiographyJune Narelle McDonald (nee Wilshire) was born on 27 January 1925. She visited Cronulla regularly as a child, where her maternal grandparents, Edward and Catherine Annie Wright, had a large weatherboard house called Anglesey, located on a very large block that extended from Cronulla's Esplanade to Gerrale Street. In later years June would return to Sutherland Shire as a permanent resident. In 1955 she married Allan Douglas McDonald and they settled on a block of land in Karoola Crescent, Caringbah.
